Every week, the same question: what are we having for dinner? It can feel relentless – especially when you’re trying to keep things varied, budget-friendly and realistic for a family with different tastes and busy schedules. So I thought I’d share what I made my family of four this week – seven dinners that are tried, tested and kid-approved by the toughest critics in my house.

There’s Creamy Garlic Chicken for a cosy start to the week, Korean Beef Rice Bowls when we wanted something with a bit of punch, and Crispy Chicken Schnitzel Alfredo which is a firm favourite that always gets demolished. Midweek is sorted with Caramelised Sticky Beef Noodles and Creamy Sausage Pasta (both fast and packed with flavour), then Pork Belly Fried Rice makes for an easy Friday dinner. And on the weekend, an Easy Rosemary Garlic Lamb Shoulder with Gravy that feels like a proper Sunday roast without spending all day in the kitchen.

If you’re stuck in a dinner rut or just need a bit of inspiration for the week ahead, this is a real snapshot of how we eat – nothing fancy, nothing out of reach, just good food that makes the week feel a little bit easier.
