Grocery prices keep going up. Every time I do a shop, I swear something else has jumped a dollar or two. It can feel really overwhelming trying to feed your family well when the costs just keep rising. But here’s what I’ve learned: it is absolutely possible to make beautiful, delicious dinners on a budget. I focus on stretching my ingredients, using really good quality basics, and making smart choices that save without cutting corners. I’m not making my own pasta or sourdough (obviously!), but I am using shortcuts where I can and getting the most out of every dollar. These five dinners are all under $20 for a family, and they’re meals my family loves to come back to again and again.
