This easy Comeback Sauce Recipe is creamy, tangy, smoky and just a little spicy. It takes only 5 minutes to make using simple fridge and pantry ingredients and is perfect for dipping crispy fried chicken, fries and potato wedges or adding to burgers, wraps and sandwiches.

Ingredients
125g(½ cup) whole-egg mayonnaise
60g(¼ cup) sour cream (can be substituted with Greek yoghurt)
2tbspketchup
1tbspdijon mustard
1tbspWorcestershire sauce
1tspsmoked paprika
1tspgarlic powder
½tsponion powder
1tsphot sauce (such as Tabasco or Frank’s), or to taste (optional, see note 1)
1tbspfresh lemon juice, or to taste
¼tspsea salt flakes, or to taste
¼tspfreshly cracked black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
Combine the sauce – Add all the ingredients to a small bowl. Stir until smooth and well combined.
Taste and serve – Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking. Add a little extra hot sauce if you like more heat, or an extra squeeze of lemon for more tang. Serve immediately or refrigerate until needed.
Notes
Note 1 – Hot sauce The hot sauce is completely adjustable. Leave it out for a mild, family-friendly sauce, use 1 teaspoon for gentle heat or add more if you like things spicy.
