A key factor to consider when meal planning is what activities are taking place during the week. After school sports may require a 15 minute meal like this Easy Butter Chicken or Chow Mein. An afternoon tea on the weekend may require some snacks outside of a regular weekly shop. The more we can avoid multiple trips to the supermarket (where we are more likely to suddenly “need” items outside of our shopping list), the more likely we are to save.
